Data rights - v14.1
Access, correct, delete or restrict your information.
This page explains how operators and visitors can exercise privacy rights under laws such as South Africa's POPIA and the EU/UK GDPR, including access, correction, deletion and objection requests.
Available requests
You may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate data, deletion where retention is no longer required, restriction, objection, portability, consent withdrawal or unpublished credential visibility changes.
How to request
Use Contact or the in-game Report Issue flow. Include your operator handle, account email, request type and enough detail to verify ownership. Do not send passwords, card numbers or private keys.
Verification
Ghostline may ask for additional proof that you control the account before disclosing or changing information. This protects accounts from social engineering and unauthorized deletion requests.
Limits
Some records may need to be retained for security, payment, accounting, fraud prevention, legal claims, dispute handling, abuse investigations or platform integrity. If a request is limited, Ghostline should explain the reason.
Public credentials
Published credentials can be disabled from Career Tracks where available. A disabled public credential no longer exposes the verification record, while internal issuance records may remain for integrity and audit purposes.
Complaints
You may escalate unresolved privacy concerns to your local data protection authority. South African data subjects can contact the Information Regulator; EU/UK data subjects can contact their supervisory authority.
